Tiberius Gracchus was an important Roman reformer who helped prevent the Roman Republic from an even worse disaster than the collapse of the Roman Republic. He prevented the Roman Republic from declining sooner because otherwise the Roman Republic would not have been able to defend itself from its numerous powerful enemies. He created necessary military reforms, including allowing non-landed men to fight. Tiberius saved the Roman military by making it a professional force. Tiberius Gracchus prevented a sooner republican decline, created necessary reforms, and saved the Roman military.

Tiberius Gracchus prevented the Roman Republic from declining sooner because there were significantly fewer Roman men who owned property due to the small farmers' declining fortune.#_ftn1 Tiberius Gracchus allowed a military reform, making the Roman military a professional fighting force, allowing men who don’t own land to fight, and also leading the Roman civil wars by creating the conditions that allowed for professional armies.

Tiberius Gracchus created military reforms, agricultural reforms, and political reforms. Gracchus contributed to military reforms through his military campaign against Carthage and his fighting against Roman enemies. He also created professional Roman armies.#_ftn2 Tiberius created agricultural reforms by settling landless Romans on clear Roman land. #_ftn3 Gracchus created political reforms by being an ethical populist politician.

Tiberius Gracchus was an important Roman reformer. He contributed to the Roman civil wars and the gang armies of the future Roman dictators. However, the Roman military would not have enough men to fight otherwise. He also helped the lower classes of Rome and was an ethical leader. Tiberius Gracchus contributed to Rome; however, his decision created complex consequences. He contributed to the rise of Sulla, Julius Caesar, and Augustus Caesar; however, the Roman Republic might have been conquered otherwise by an invading enemy. This was a complex decision, but with modern-day morals and the modern-day Lense definitely the right one. Tiberius Gracchus is what the modern-day person would call a populist; he was not the first Roman reformer, but some of his reforms were the most important and most impactful reforms.

Tiberius Gracchus was a Roman politician, Roman reformer, Roman general, Roman Tribune, Roman aristocrat, and intellectual. Tiberius Gracchus was taught in the Greek fashion how to write, how to read, politics, science, and philosophy by a Greek teacher. This made him well placed and well educated to reform Rome properly.
