I am a current UMD student graduating this December. I got dean's list last semester. I am a History major Economics minor. My best topic is on ancient Rome, ancient Greece and World War Two. I wrote my high school thesis paper on Venice's economy during the time of the Ottoman Empire. It analyzed Venice's economy, their main imports and exports. It also analyzed their trading.

I believe that history can be and should be accessible to everyone. I believe that it is important for other professions to learn about history as it is a very useful subject. A history degree can be worth it in many fields.
Qualifications
With a high school degree, an A in 300+ Middle Eastern History and a current history major at a ~40 top 40 school- James is well equipped to talk about and write about history.
