The Wolf of Wall Street is a three hour cinematic masterpiece based in NYC. It was published first in 2013. The Wolf of Wall Street was banned in seven countries and is not even easy to watch in the United States currently.
The movie is based on Jordon Belfort, a stock-broker who joined a major broker firm in the 1990's. Shortly after this brokerage firm goes bankrupt. He then founds his own brokerage firm, called Stratton Oakmont, which is partly involved in illegal activities. He makes 48 million dollars a year, lives in a mansion, owns a Ferarri, and flys a helicopter. He divorces his wife and marries the character played by Margo Robbie. He lives a greedy, audacious, degenarate and criminal life, filled with Swiss bank accounts, drugs, money, sex, hookers, excess and fraud. He is an expert salesmen. The Wolf of Wall Street is currently the 195th ranked movie of all time. It is an exaggeration of Jordon Belfort's,( a real person) extravagent life. He ends up in jail, but he get's lots of time removed from his sentence by ratting out all of his acomplices. Jordon Belfort, afterward's, uses his sale skills and story to be a major public speaker earning some income. He owed over 100 million dollar in resitution to his victim's however he has not still not finished paying it all back.
The acting in the Wolf of Wall Street was fantastic. Especially the acting by Marggot Robbie and Leonardo De Caprio. The movie was great. It was intentially exaggragated and excessive which may have been an intentional choice by the directors. The excessivenous and greed shown by Leonardo Di Caprio's Jordon Belfort may have been an intentional director's choice, however it may be controversial. This was shown when 7 countries, including Kenya, Nepal, and Malaysia have banned the Wolf of Wall Street. The other four countries include: the UAE, India, Lebanon, Singapore, this countries have edited out large parts of the Wolf of Wall Street. The Wolf of Wall Street is one of the best movies of the 21st century and is a major contributor of American culture.
