The Mongol Empire was founded by Genghis Khan, a member of one of the poorest nomad tribes. [1] Genghis Khan started out married to a girl in one of the neighboring tribes and ended up as one of the most powerful men to have ever lived. [2] One of his key traits was his promotion of freedom of religion, and his crusade against leading religious and political figures. [3] Genghis Khan was a key leader, who's story to greatness started with the kidnaping of his wife-to-be. Genghis Khan was at a party with 10 other people and lost three members of his party after they were kidnapped by the Merkid’s. [4] Genghis Khan’s origin story started off with a disaster in which he almost died; however, he came back and reached the pinnacle of greatness.

The Silk Road was a route between China and Europe that sent traders between the Middle East and India to trade for the extremely valuable and lightweight good silk. Silk was a very expensive good that was extremely valuable and brought much gold and silver to China. Silk, the Silk Road, and Fireworks gave China the temporary ability to be stronger than Europe. However, they did not develop gunpowder into weapons, making them lose the chance to be a world power. Silk was a popular good in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The Mongol Empire was founded by Genghis Khan and was based on the tribal horse archer nomads that lived in central Asia.

The Mongol Empire was based on horse archers or ranged bows, carrying equestrians who shot arrows off their horses. Another word for them is light missile cavalry. Genghis Khan’s horse archer Nomads moved their cities and lived on horseback throughout central Asia. Genghis Khan moved his horse archers throughout Central Asia and fought the Chinese, Indian’s, Russians, and Europeans, conquering wide spreads of land.

The Mongol Empire was a key player in world history, being the largest empire of all time. However, the Mongol Empire collapsed at some point after Genghis Khan’s death.
