Canada’s “Half-Breed’s maybe is where the “Half-Breeds” in Harry Potter come from. Luis Reil spoke English and French; however, he was mainly a French Speaker. Luis Reil was a general, translator, statesman, and parliamentarian. Luis Riel was a Canadian Revolutionary who helped develop and create modern Canada.
Luis Reil was a Canadian revolutionary who was on the French side, in a far province from the heart of Canada. Luis Reil led an army of 300 men to fight off the English-speaking attempt at a Canadian government. Today, Canada has English and French-speaking provinces; this was one of the French-speaking provinces. Canada used to be split up between French, English, and Russian colonies. At one point, the United States even tried to incorporate Canada. Luis Reil tried to get American support in his war and also took refuge in Canada.
Luis Riel was a key figure because he developed the French-speaking parts of Canada, became a member of Parliament, and helped create the current state of Canada. Luis Riel led a revolutionary movement of half-French, half-Indians, which is maybe where Harry Potter’s term “Half-Breed’s comes from. Luis Reil was an important figure, and at one point, even got locked up in a psychiatric facility. Luis Reil even got elected to parliament at one point.
Luis Reil was an interesting figure in the time of the railroad revolution and was also a major leader in the making of Canada. Luis Reil was a key leader and also became a parliamentarian in the joint French and Canadian government. Reil was in the remote parts of Canada. Luis Reil has Harry Potter references, psychiatric references, and other important, modern-day references.
