History of Rome

The history of Rome starts with the Trojan decedents of Aeneas - from the Iiliad- they traveled to the Roman peninsula. The family of Aeneas - the down generational Trojans - Romulus and Remus - they decided to found the city of Rome with criminals and runaways on the Italian peninsula. The legendary kings of Rome - they were seven- they ended with the last two being very cruel. The last of the two were so evil and cruel that the kings were banned from Rome and it became a dirty word in Rome which become a Republic.

Julius Caesar was a politician, general, civil war leader, dictator, orator, philosopher and historic figure. Julius Caesar started out as a tribune elected in roman politics protecting and defending and working for the plebians or the lowest citizen class in Rome. He then rose throughout the ranks rising to be one of the two main statesmen's leaders on Rome leading the armies of Rome then becoming a senator after his term was up. He led Rome to conquer Gaul and Spain. He crossed the Rhine to attack conquer Germany in a brutal war against the savages. In the first roman civil war he had the territories of Rome and Gaul vs lupus's Spain and brutes Egypt and east. He won the civil war becoming dictator and ended up getting assassinated by Brutus an old senator enemy who loved the roman republic. Caesar married a women named Cornelia and loved her even if he cheated, he only had one child. He used misuses veterans his aunt Julia Ceaser went further he had outgoing consuls with Ceaser's concerns he had extreme practices. Cicero’s misgivings where another sign of resentment Cicero’s misgivings were real. Sully was the dictator during the early parts of Ceasers rule after his funeral Ceaser was gaining in popularity. Ceaser was called home with the death of his cousin Ceaser rushed home. The status of Rome worked together to bring the cities to build forts to Rome. Marcus Aurelius was a strong Roman emperor he gave an offer to the god of Apollo and the next Emperor Nero built a temple to Apollo. Nero was one of the cruelest rulers of all time up there with Hitler and Stalin. Hadrians history was hard for historians to study. Some high ranking Romans claimed to have gods as ancestors. The emperors wistful hope for immortality. Embellished together bigger truths pointed examples Vespasian dealing right up to the end of Nero was brutal it showed what happens when dictators lose possible the army lkilled him no one listens to dictators when they lose power they kill themselves maybe with one or two people helping them.
