George Washington believed only honest men could have a good reputation and be an effective leader. George Washington believed that honesty could lead to increased trust with the people they were working with. He was loved by both extremes of the political economical and financial divide due to his honesty and leadership qualities. He also made comprises. He used spies to help win the American Revolution. He understood that sometimes people would disagree with his decisions. Being honest sometimes led to problems with his ambitions.

George Washington believed in being ambitious and bold.

George Washington was focused on honor and less on money however he wanted money too. He believed in patronage of the arts and military supporting artists philosophers’ students and future leaders with his fortune. He lived in Mount Vernon in Virginia. In 18th Century Virginia it was how it was done for George Washington to marry a woman for their money it was how it was done back then. He was an established war hero and collected these rewards by marrying Martha. George Washington may not be as merely sound as we might think today but back then he was at the highest echelons.

George Washington was a visionary honest ambitious leader who lead the united states to freedom from the British then to stability as a new country. He believed in vision ambition and honesty as the keys to be a leader.
