The Neolithic period in Italy was between 10000BCE- 2300bc, the copper age was between 3200-2300 BCE and the bronze age was between 3000- 1000 BCE. There was a civilization on Sardinia called Nuragic. There was a complex civilization in agricultural metal working in agriculture herding and maritime activities. The Roman Empire getting bigger helped weaken and then vanquish the neagubic people. They were assimilated into the Roman Empire. They consisted of small settlements they were called the Terra mare people. The small villages were located on the Terra mare. The decline of the civilization was caused by different factors they were the sea people that led to the dark ages. The samites were in the mountains of southern Italy in the Apennine Mountains. Central Italy was called the umbrians they were not considered warlike unlike the sabines. The incursions of the landscape Villanova culture was the influence of natural progress. The villonovian agricultural villages the villages were central communal areas and workshops.
There were other civilizations that fought the Roman- they were called the the Sabine’s and Samnites which were italican tribes that occupied parts of southern Italy. There concept of Italian identity of the Italian tribes. The vilinovian cultures burials were tumuli were distinct decorations. The etruscans were in southern Italy from the 8th century BCE-3rd century BCE who were close to getting the Etruscan way of life the indigenous people of the Mediterranean cultures with the various trade routes including Greeks and phoecians.
