Our Story
This is an old piece of writing that I wrote about the history of silk. It is the second piece in the series.
Silk was a critical commodity throughout History. It was discovered by the Chinese in the year 2600BCE. The Silk Moth itself was discovered by the Chinese in 2200. Silk brought heavy amounts of wealth, gold, economic development, traders, and travelers, which made China a powerhouse in the early parts of human history.
Neolithic societies had used Chinese silk for millennia, Homio Sapiens started using Silk too in the 3rd millennium. Throughout history, there was a hierarchy of fabrics, including wool, furs, silk, and bark; however, not in that order. Financially, the silkwood was extremely valued by Chinese silk manufacturers due to its high domestic and international trade value. Chinese silk worms had many predators throughout biological history; however, in the Chinese silk farms, they were reasonably protected. Ancient Chinese accepted the limitations of silk, finding and repurposing it, and trading it globally. The country has included it as a main part of its mythological stories and part of its future. China has a heavy claim on silk and has made significant progress in its production of high-quality silk.
The insect that produces silk was discovered in 2640 BCE by the queen of China. Moths that created silk were discovered in ancient China during the Confucius era, which included the period 2200 BCE, and the usual modern-day version was discovered in 2640 BCE.
The history of silk includes the time period between 2640 BCE in China and 17th-century Europe as an extremely valuable good that served multiple functions.
Silk has a connection to the Jewish Ghetto. The Jewish Ghetto was a terrible place. The people in the Jewish Ghetto blamed Native American Indian's for their terrible life and condition. An example of these atrocious acts included: the American Indigenous women and children were fed to Spanish women, who then fed them to their dogs. The period of history that includes the history of silk was a terrible time in the history of the United States; American Indian's were fed to dogs.
Silk has a long and illustrious history that led to violence, discovery, and crossed the world. Silk is the most important historical good of all time because of its intrinsic and equated value. Silk was discovered in China in 2600BCE and was valued heavily as a Chinese export up until the 17th century, as far away as the United States and Amsterdam.
